When people ask what kind of music do you play, I share with them that Count Basie said "There are only 2 kinds of music, the good kind and the other kind." I play the good kind. —MC

Northwest singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, band leader. Michael Clune has been performing in the Northwest for the last 2 decades including performances at The Back Stage, Bumbershoot, The Washington State Fair, Chico World musical festival, Seattle Mardi Gras, and The Triple Door. Michael's recording and performance sessions are extensive. They include: Lonnie Turner, (the legendary bass player,) James Michael Thomas (Ray Charles guitarist) and Alice Stuart (Burnside records recording artist).

Michael's debut CD, Easy Street (2004) showcases his soulful, expressive vocals, skillful tasty keyboard work, and solid drumming. Easy Street has stimulating, tight arrangements that make you want to listen over and over. Easy Street is available on itunes.com and cdbaby.com It's a catch!

Michael’s musical style can be described as funky, soulful, rhythm rock with a passionate vocal. It moves and it grooves like sticking the sounds of Marvin Gaye, Paul Simon, Dave Mathews, and Bruce Hornsby into one room. Michael Clune & Sleep Till Noon performs on the first Friday evening of the month from 8-10 PM @Coffee to a Tea, 4541 California SW, Seattle WA

"To all the great musicians that performed on Easy Street, and to those that influenced the tunes, I am looking forward to working with you on the next release." Mucho Thanks!
